Ryan DeCoste is the Owner and Lead Instructor of Rescue Ready Training, bringing years of experience as a firefighter, paramedic, and emergency medical educator to every class. As a dedicated public safety professional, Ryan has spent his career responding to emergencies, caring for patients, and helping individuals develop the confidence and skills needed to act in critical situations.
Ryan is certified as an American Heart Association and American Red Cross instructor and is committed to providing high-quality, hands-on training that prepares students for real-world emergencies. His teaching philosophy focuses on creating an engaging, supportive learning environment where participants gain both the knowledge and practical skills necessary to respond effectively when seconds matter.Whether teaching CPR, First Aid, AED, BLS, ACLS, PALS NALS, or instructor-level courses, Ryan combines real-world emergency response experience with practical teaching methods to ensure every student leaves class rescue ready.

Ryan is our Director of Operations and a lead instructor. He is a local firefighter and paramedic who has worked in the emergency services since 2016. Ryan is a former lifeguard and surf rescue technician. He is an active member of the National Ski Patrol, and he has years of on-road experience as an EMT and medic in the great Boston area. Before transitioning into the emergency services, Ryan got his bachelor’s in chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross.
As our Director of Operations, Ryan oversees training programs while teaching CPR/AED, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and other lifesaving courses. Ryan is proud to be part of the Rescue Ready Training team and is committed to delivering high-quality, professional training to individuals and organizations throughout New England.
