How We Share Information:

We share information as reasonably necessary with: Certification organizations and training partners. We may provide required student and course information to the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Health & Safety Institute, affiliated training centers, or other applicable credentialing organizations to administer training, issue certifications, and maintain required records. Service providers. We use providers for registration, course management, website hosting, payment processing, communications, shipping, and business administration. These providers receive information needed to perform their services. Employers and sponsoring organizations. When an organization arranges or pays for training, we may share information relevant to that arrangement, including attendance, completion status, and certification details. 

Legal and business purposes:

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect people or our legal rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets. At your direction. We may share information when you request or authorize us to do so. We do not sell personal information for money. Payment Processing and Electronic payments are handled through third-party payment processors. Payment information you submit through their systems is subject to their privacy policies and security practices. We may receive transaction confirmations and limited payment details needed for accounting, refunds, and customer support.

Email and Text Messages:

We may send service communications about registrations, purchases, certifications, and scheduled training. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary communications about an existing registration, order, or transaction. If you enroll in text messaging, you may opt out by replying STOP. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Consent to promotional text messages is not a condition of purchase. We do not share text-message opt-in information or consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share it with providers that help deliver our messaging services.

Information Retention:

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain required training and certification records, meet accounting and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable requirements. Some records may need to be retained after you request deletion.

We will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity, and some requests may be limited by legal obligations, certification requirements, or necessary business records.

Children’s Privacy:

Our website is intended for adults arranging training or purchasing products and is not directed to children under 13. Parents, guardians, schools, or sponsoring organizations should arrange registration for younger participants.We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13 without any consent required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us so we can review and address it.

Third-Party Services and Links:

Our website may link to registration platforms, learning portals, certification organizations, payment services, and other third-party websites. Those organizations have their own privacy policies. Key Policies:

• All course registrations and payments are final and non-refundable.
• No refunds or transfers will be granted for no-shows.
• By registering, you accept all attendance, cancellation, and chargeback policies outlined herein.

Registration & Liability Waiver

• By registering and submitting payment, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to Rescue Ready’s Terms and Conditions. Participants acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the training. Rescue Ready, including its instructors, agents, and employees, is not liable for any personal injury or property damage arising from participation, except as required by law. 

Payment & Billing

• Courses require payment at the time of registration.
• By submitting payment, you confirm you have read and accept all cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show policies. This acknowledgment may be used in any payment dispute.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

CPR, First Aid, BLS Courses

• All course registrations are final and non-refundable.
• No refunds or transfers will be issued for no-shows.
• Transfer to a different course date within 24 hours of original course date is permitted for a $50 fee, subject to availability.
•  Transfers, or rescheduling requests, must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time. Any requests made within 24 hours of the booking start time are not eligible for refund, transfer, rescheduling, or credit for any reason.

Course Cancellation by Rescue Ready

• Courses with low enrollment (less than 3 students) will be canceled and participants will be notified via email and/or text by 7 PM the night before.
• If Rescue Ready cancels your class, you may reschedule within 30 days at no cost.

Attendance Policy

• Participants should arrive 10 minutes before the course begins.
• Late arrival grace period: Students are permitted to arrive before the first video or within 10 minutes after the scheduled start. Late arrivals after this period must reschedule.
• Late arrivals beyond the grace period will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
• No-call/no-show results in forfeiture of registration; new registration and payment are required to attend a future session. 

Photography and Media Release Policy 

Rescue Ready Training may take photographs and/or video recordings during training courses, skills sessions, and special events for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes. These images and recordings may be used on our website, social media platforms, printed materials, advertisements, and other company publications.

By registering for and attending a Rescue Ready Training course, participants acknowledge and consent to the use of photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings that may include their likeness, image, voice, or participation in training activities.

Privacy and Professionalism

Rescue Ready Training is committed to maintaining a professional learning environment. Images and videos will be selected carefully and used in a manner that reflects positively on participants and the training experience. No personal information, certification records, or other confidential information will be disclosed without separate authorization.

Opt-Out Option

Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify a Rescue Ready Training instructor or staff member in writing prior to the start of the course. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests and exclude those individuals from promotional photography and video recordings.
